HSphere: Not able to create MSSQL database in the  control panel:

To fix this issue, you have to edit hsphere.config file in the server. It is placed in the following path.

“C:\Program Files\HSphere\Config\hsphere.config”

Particularly there were the following lines:

<prop name=”mssqlserver” value=”E339372-111116″ description=”SharePoint MSSql Server Name” />
<prop name=”mssqlserver” value=”E339372-111116″ description=”Name of mssqlserver” />

Modify the value to IP address of the MSSQL server.

<prop name=”mssqlserver” value=”67.15.97.240″ description=”SharePoint MSSql Server Name” />
<prop name=”mssqlserver” value=”67.15.97.240″ description=”Name of mssqlserver” />

Then restart the H-Sphere service on this Windows box.

H-sphere: CP Error:

Error

It is impossible to enable resource PHP Module, because corresponding software is not installed on physical box.
No ASPNET versions installed on physical box.

Fix:

Whenever the above message is seen in the Hsphere control panel, it means that the CP server and the CP agent are not connected to eachother. Just get into the respective logical server and restart the hsphere services and wait for
some time to get this issue fixed. If this issue needs to be fixed immediately, go to “update box” in the main CP after restarting the services and select the appropriate physical server and press “fetch info” This will get resolved soon.
